Buffer Zones

A Buffer-Zone, also known as a ‘Safe-Access Zone’, is an area outside of any healthcare facility that offers abortion services where protest activities are banned. The banned activities can vary in different places, but the aim of a buffer-zone is to prevent anti-choice harassment and intimidation aimed at those seeking abortion care.
